Terms of Service

These terms cover your purchase and use of TOPIK II Frequency Master — Complete Edition (the "product") from TOPIK Frequency (the "seller", "we", "us"). By buying the product you accept them.
1. Who you are buying from
The product is sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction. That means Paddle is the legal seller of record, handles payment processing, applies and remits any sales tax or VAT, issues your invoice and receipt, and is the first point of contact for billing queries. We are the publisher of the product and are responsible for its content and delivery. See the Paddle buyer terms for the terms that apply to the payment itself.
2. What you are buying
A one-time, personal-use licence to the digital files listed on our pricing page: a PDF edition, an interactive Excel workbook and an Anki deck, plus a setup guide and this licence. There is no subscription and nothing recurring. You receive the files once payment is complete.
3. Your licence
One licence = one person. A licence is granted to the individual buyer, not to a household, team, class or organisation.
You may use the materials for your own study for as long as you like; print copies of the PDF for your own use; and keep backups on your own devices and in your own private cloud storage.
You may not share, resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the files or any part of their contents — including uploading the word lists, the Anki deck or any derivative of them to a website, app, file-sharing service, course platform or study group; republish the content, in whole or in part, as your own product, free or paid, in any language; or use the materials to train machine-learning systems.
Classroom, academy and multi-user use requires a separate licence. Contact us with the number of students and we will send a quote.
4. Delivery
Delivery is digital and automatic. When your payment is confirmed you are redirected to a download page, and Paddle emails you a receipt that also links back to it. If your download link stops working, or a file will not open, email hello@topikfrequency.com and we will send you a replacement. Nothing is shipped physically.
It is your responsibility to keep your receipt email. It is your licence and your proof of purchase, and it is how you get re-downloads and free updates to this edition.
5. Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on every purchase, no reason required. Full details are on the refund policy page. Nothing in these terms limits any refund right you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
6. Price, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars on our pricing page. Paddle may display or convert the price in your local currency at checkout depending on your location, and will add any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies to a digital product in your jurisdiction. The amount you pay is the amount shown on the Paddle checkout screen before you confirm. We may change prices for future buyers at any time; a change never affects a purchase you have already made.
7. Content accuracy
The frequency data was compiled carefully from 28 exam papers, but no guarantee is given that it is complete or free of errors, and it is not a prediction of what will appear in any future exam. Vocabulary frequency changes over time. If you find a mistake, tell us — verified corrections ship as free updates to everyone who has bought the pack.
8. Independence and intellectual property
The product is an independent editorial work. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to NIIED, the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, or any TOPIK administrator or preparation provider. It contains no test questions, no reading or listening passages and no question-number references. Frequency counts, tier assignments, inflected-form lists, collocations and sound-shift analyses are the author's own editorial work.
TOPIK is a registered trademark of NIIED. It is used on this site solely to describe the examination whose vocabulary is being analysed. All trademarks remain the property of their owners.
All rights in the product not expressly granted to you in section 3 are reserved. The product is not sold to you — it is licensed to you.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the product in any way that breaks the law, infringes anyone's rights, or breaches the licence in section 3. We may suspend a licence if it is being used to redistribute the materials, and we may pursue the remedies available to us if it is.
10. Limit of liability
The product is study material. It is not a guarantee of any exam result, score or language level, and we do not promise that studying it will produce a particular outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or limits your statutory consumer rights.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the product, the law or how we operate. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to it. We will show the revision date at the top of the page.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there.
