Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This page explains what happens to personal data when you visit topikfrequency.com or buy our product. It is short, because we collect very little.

The short version. You do not create an account and we never see your card details. Payments, tax and your invoice are handled by Paddle, who act as the seller of record. The only personal data we hold ourselves is your email address, and only if you write to us.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for this website and for our own customer correspondence is TOPIK Frequency ("we", "us"), reachable at hello@topikfrequency.com.

For the purchase itself, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle") is the merchant of record and an independent data controller. Paddle collects and processes the data needed to take payment, apply tax and provide billing support. Their handling is described in the Paddle privacy policy.

2. What we collect, and why

We do not run advertising, we do not sell or rent data to anyone, and we do not use the site to build marketing profiles of visitors.

3. What we never collect

We never see or store your card number, your bank details, or your full billing address. That information goes directly to Paddle and their payment processors when you check out, and stays with them. We cannot look it up, and we cannot charge a card.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The pages on this site do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run a web analytics product on them. When a page loads, it loads Paddle's checkout script so that the buy button works. As a result of that, Paddle may set cookies or receive your IP address and device information in connection with fraud prevention and the checkout session. That processing is Paddle's, as seller of record, and is described in their privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking Paddle's script will stop the buy button from working, but the rest of the site will still be readable.

5. Who else sees your data

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid request from a tax authority or law enforcement.

6. Where your data goes

These providers operate internationally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States. Paddle maintains safeguards for international transfers as set out in their privacy policy.

7. How long we keep it

Support emails are kept while your order might still need help with and for the period our accounting records must be retained, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period only.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@topikfrequency.com and we will respond within the period the law requires.

If your request concerns payment data, your invoice or a billing dispute, it needs to go to Paddle, because they hold that data and are the seller of record. Replying to your Paddle receipt email reaches them directly.

9. Children

This site and the product are intended for adult learners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If we ever add a newsletter or analytics to the site, we will say so here and give you a way to opt out before it applies to you.
